Our size means that we have the capacity to take creative risks, to push boundaries in both our work and the way that we go about our business. We are flexible and able to protect the integrity of the studio output far more easily than a bigger studio with higher overheads and staffing costs. We can (and do) say no.”
David Constantine and Hannah Constantine were grounded in the design process and creative thought by two of the best design institutions in Australia.
Between them they have worked for 1 global innovation consultancy, 2 advertising agencies, 2 design studios, 2 publishing houses, 1 interior architect, 150 MPs and 1 Prime Minister. Their professional careers have taken them to Canberra, London and back to Melbourne.
In 2011 they opened Studio Constantine.
Their work has since been featured in global design journals including Etapes, Design.Work.Life and Desktop Magazine, and published in multiple design books (see Books, Awards, Press). Studio Constantine were also shortlisted in the Qantm Create Design Awards and Melbourne Design Awards 2012.
Region, Continent and Country are no barrier – since founding the studio in Melbourne, Studio Constantine have worked with clients across the globe, including the UK, South Africa and Brazil, and in multiple languages.
